ice skating

Today was Grace's 7th birthday party at the Ice Station. She invited the whole family (the boys really love her and she loves them and that drives Megan a little bit crazy!). First up was the bumper cars on ice..... My boys love to pose for pictures! Then we had pizza and cake and hit the rink. Megan has been skating several times and she's not bad. The boys, however, had never been and it showed! They started out with the walkers. I'll be honest, if we added up the number of falls by Mandel kids today, it would be more than 100. But each time, they got up with a smile and tried again. Megan and the birthday girl At one point, Logan pushed the walker away and said he didn't need it anymore. Nathan couldn't be the only one with a walker so he did the same. The 3 kiddos together And look who we ran into - my sweet photo friend Tatum and her family. She has great taste in cute gloves! We started our day with the annual Burrill family photos that we've been doing for at least 10 years. The cousins Papa Jerry with the grandkids Everyone - happy to say that this year, no one was photoshopped in! The grandkids with Aunt Janey and Uncle Richard. My parents started spending Thanksgiving with the Altimaris before either couple had any children so it's gotta be getting close to 40 years of celebrating together. If they weren't here, I would boycott turkey altogether! Aunt Janey was one of my mom's very best friends. My mom always told me that after she was gone, if I ever needed a mom's advice, to ask Janey because she would give the same answer my mom would have. The crazy Mandels - better job this year kids, everyone looking and smiling. Yay! Kris and Casey The Casey Burrills cousins again - we moved our ...
