Last year we went to the zoo on Logan's second birthday. Today we were a day late...but what fun they had!

sniff, sniff...my little guy is three today. boo hoo. We took him to the lake to get some bday shots and everyone jumped right in. In to the session, not the lake - it was freezing!

I could sit and take pictures of this scene all day long. a rock in la jolla seals in La Jolla Cove - if you've never been there, it's cool. There have been seals there for as long as I can remember - and they are all over the beach, too.

We just got back from Sea World - had to get in a couple more visits before those passes expire! We stopped in at Dick's Last Resort , a hilarious restaurant in San Diego, for dinner. They let the kids draw on the floor with chalk and gave them drinks with 20 straws. They encouraged shouting and throwing napkins on the floor. Chances are, they'll ask to be taken back next time we're in town. It's a little on the crazy side so some of you (and you know who you are) should stay away. Our waiter, Taco, gave the boys matching tummy tatoos. As we left, Nathan said, "When I grow up, I want to be a worker here because that guy is funny." yep, already posting. we were up E.A.R.L.Y. But it was fun to watch how excited they all were to see what Santa brought.

best I could get with all the excitement..... with auntie..... waiting to see what papa brought (game boys!) putting out milk, cookies, and carrots for the reindeer...

I am not good at keeping secrets but I've had one for almost 2 months....Brady bought a ring and proposed TODAY and Jen said YES! Woo-Hoo! He did it at MSU in front of the Sparty statue...if you know them, you know how perfect that is. I am so excited. We have been teasing Brady forever that if we had to choose between him and her, we'd choose her! Haha. Anyway, we love Jen and she fits into our family perfectly! Oh, when I told Megan that Brady asked Jen to marry him and she said yes, Megan said, "I hope it's a girl." I think she's confused. =)

We decorated cookies with the cousins today. I love all the colors. As always, the adults did most of the work but the kids had fun doing it for a little while and they always enjoy being together.
